Book Donation
A Treasure House of Knowledge. Books are wonderful gifts to mankind. Books are useful in many ways. They educate, entertain and serve as good companions. The kingdom of books is as vast as universe. There are books on literature, science, fiction, history, art, culture, civilization, architecture, fashion, technology, philosophy, etc. Some books are for serious reading, some are intended to enrich our knowledge and learning. Many books give us an insight into various aspect of life.
Books play pivotal role in life of a student. It acts as a gateway for him to know and be par at the ever changing world. Many times students from the poor section of our society doesn't have access to the finest reading material.
To widen the scope of Education for such students we have Book Donation project. Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust with Rotary Club of Bombay Worli has organized several Free Educational Book Exhibitions for distribution over the past 12 years.
In these exhibitions we display quality Indian as well as imported Educational Books panning over a wide variety of subjects such as Literature, Science, Computer, Encyclopedias, Mathematics, Geography and many more. Each of the books are carefully sorted and categorized. Principals and Teachers of various schools and colleges, are invited to come and select books required for their library free of cost. Over 2000 schools have benefitted and more than 1,75,000 books have been distributed.
Previous Experience of Ratna Nidhi Trust
· In our book distribution exhibition on 18th June 2010 - 9017 books were distributed free to 107 schools
· In our book distribution exhibition on 14th and 15th September 2012 - 30000 books were distributed free to 377 schools and colleges.
